Collaboration between young Japanese and French on sustainable development
In 2015, the UN established the Agenda 2030, composed of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) such as gender equality (#5), a quality education (#4), decent work (#8) or good infrastructures (#9). As part of its partnership with the UN, the Junior Chamber International (JCI) created the Global Youth Ambassador program with the objective to sensitize adolescents for SDGs and humanity objectives for better future as well as to enlarge their horizons through exposure to different cultures. . During 4 days, 5 young Japanese and 5 young French will collaborate on the customs of their respective countries and the 17 SDGs.
